Welcome to the information page on
Superconductivity Research
at the Istituto di Cibernetica "E. Caianiello",
Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (C.N.R.)
The research activity on superconductivity is performed since 1968
mainly in weak superconductivity (Josephson effect). Both experimental and theoretical
investigations are carried out.The Institute has know-how and experimental
facilities covering both fabrication and low temperature testing of thin
film devices having high and low critical temperature. The research trends cover
topics concerning the physics of weakly coupled superconducting systems
and the development of small scale applications (superconductive electronics
and sensors).
